NORTH ANDOVER, MA — A lottery ticket purchased in North Andover was worth $100,000, according to Mass Lottery. The winner was playing Powerball.
The lucky ticket was purchased Sept. 6 at Winners Corner Market in North Andover.
The ticket was bought when the Powerball jackpot surged to over $1.7 billion. In the drawing Sept. 6, players in Missouri and Texas won the big prize, which was the second-largest ever in the game.
Winners Corner Market has had a remarkable streak of wins lately. The most recent was a $1 million scratch-off winner earlier this month.
