NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover is imposing outdoor water use restrictions because of the current low water level at Lake Cochichewick.
Under the restriction, all non-essential outdoor water use is prohibited.
Prohibited activities include outdoor spray irrigation systems, outdoor washing of vehicles, and filling of swimming pools.
The restrictions will remain in place until the lake level recovers to a normal level. That means residents and property owners will need to hold off on listed non-essential outdoor uses for an undetermined period while water levels remain low.
