NORTH ANDOVER, MA — All outdoor water use in North Andover is prohibited until further notice as part of an emergency water ban triggered on Tuesday.
The town said the water ban is because of low water levels in Lake Cochichewick.
The ban includes outdoor spray irrigation systems, outdoor washing of vehicles, and filling of swimming pools.
These restrictions will be in place for the "foreseeable future" and until such time as the Lake level recovers to a normal level, according to the town.
