NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover police officers will now all be wearing activated body-worn cameras after the program was officially launched on Monday.
North Andover police said the program is "part of our continued commitment to transparency, accountability, and professional policing."
"The implementation of this technology represents another step forward in our efforts to enhance public safety, strengthen community trust, and provide an additional resource for both our officers and the community we serve," The North Andover Police Department said. "We appreciate the continued support of the North Andover community as we work together to keep our town safe."
