Gordon Rhea, a nationally acclaimed historian and considered the foremost living authority on General U.S. Grant’s Overland Campaign of 1864, will be appearing at the Old Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. on June 12 to give a lecture on the Battle of Spotsylvania in which the Andover Company (Company H of the First Heavy Artillery Massachusetts Volunteers) participated. Mr. Rhea’s lecture will be followed by a book signing at which the Andover Bookstore will be offering some of Mr. Rhea’s works for sale.
