Arrest In Murder Of Groveland Building Inspector

Leedell Graham, 48, was charged with killing 82-year-old Patsy Schena, according to authorities.

GROVELAND, MA — A Haverhill man was arrested Thursday night and charged with the murder of Groveland's building inspector. Leedell Graham, 48, was charged with killing 82-year-old Patsy Schena, who was found dead at his Governors Road home last June 21.

Graham had "personal business dealings" with Schena, Essex County District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett said, according to WBZ. Blodgett also said Schena died of blunt-force trauma.

"We appreciate the public’s patience," Groveland Police Chief Jeff Gillen said. "I understand it that such an event causes anxiety and concern, however, it is imperative that information is limited while the investigation is unfolding in order to protect the investigation. I appreciate the efforts of the investigative team in bringing this individual to justice."
