Body Recovered From North Andover Lake Identified As Lawrence Man
Foul play is not suspected in what appears to be an accidental drowning.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- Divers recovered the body of a 22-year-old Rosido Jara, of Lawrence Friday morning. Jara was reported missing in Lake Cochichewick Thursday night. The search resumed Friday morning after being suspended Thursday evening, and divers recovered Jara's body at 10:18 am.
Jara had been reported missing while swimming with friends. Police and rescue personnel responded to a 911 call around 5:40 pm Thursday.
"As the warmer temperatures bring more people to the lake, we urge everyone to exercise extreme caution and not to swim in unguarded areas," North Andover Police Chief Charles Gray said in a statement issued by the Essex County District Attorney's office.

The body will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy.The deceased's family was at the scene and positively identified Jara. Foul play is not suspected.
