Child Getting Off Bus Seriously Injured In Haverhill Crash
A 9-year-old getting off the bus Thursday afternoon was hit by a pickup truck and seriously injured, according to police.

HAVERHILL, MA — A 9-year-old getting off a bus was struck by a pickup truck and seriously injured Thursday, according to Haverhill police.
The accident occurred at Main Street and 13th Avenue at 5:30 p.m. The child was hit by a 2003 Toyota Tacoma.
The child was seriously injured and flown by medical helicopter to a Boston-area hospital.

The Toyota stopped at the scene of the crash, according to police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
