Columbia Gas Closing Walk-In Center In North Andover

The company will keep walk-in centers in Lawrence and Andover open for residents from all three communities.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- Columbia Gas of Massachusetts said Monday it will close the walk-in care center it set up in North Andover after the Sept. 13 gas explosions. The center, which was opened to answer questions and help residents file claims in the wake of the disaster, will be shut down at the close of business on Friday, March 15.

Similar centers at 45 Main Street in Andover and 439 South Union Street in Lawrence will remain open. Residents from any town can access services at any of the centers.
