Community Open Mic Nites for teens begin this Wednesdays, July 9 in the Hedge Garden behind Pingree School at 537 Highland Street in South Hamilton. Students in middle and high schools from throughout the area are invited to perform and/or listen at these free events. Bring beach chairs and blankets and a picnic dinner if desired. Pizza and cold drinks will be on sale.
Sign-ups begin at 6 p.m.; performances start at 6:30. Vocalists, instrumentalists, poets, rappers, dancers, and spoken word artists are welcome. Audiences of all ages are invited to attend.
