Drug Arrest and Plow Through Gate

The following are excepts from the log.

Monday, Feb. 27

At 11:31 a.m., a caller on Courtland Drive reported receiving a scam phone call about his son.

At 3:54 p.m., reported a shoplifter. Rosa Magalis, 38, of 397 Hampshire St., Lawrence, was arrested for shoplifting.

Tuesday, Feb. 28

At 1:08 p.m., a caller at reported that someone there was giving him and his sister a hard time.

At 4:44 p.m., a caller on Farrwood Avenue reported that his upstairs neighbor spit on his door.

At 5:10 p.m., Kohl's reported a shoplifter. Nelson Ortiz, 21, of 226 Water St., Lawrence, was arrested for shoplifting.

Wednesday, Feb. 29

At 12:13 p.m., there was a kitchen fire at Royal Crest. The fire was contained to one unit and extinguished.

At 1:35 p.m., police were called to Maple Avenue and arrested Gregg Stewart, 40, of 67 Maple Ave., North Andover, for intimidation of a witness and assault and battery.

At 3:01 p.m., a caller reported a man in a black hooded jacket carrying a backpack walking on Great Pond Road. Police arrested the man, Nathan Holmquist, 35, of 77 South Uninion St., Lawrence, for possession of a class E substance, possession of a class C substance and receiving stolen property.

Thursday, March 1

At 4:51 a.m., a caller reported neighbors in a domestic dispute. It was a verbal dispute.

At 7:24 p.m., a Division of Public Works snow plow broke the back gate at the Police Station.
