It’s
the New Hampshire Seacoast’s international block party and you’re invited!
Visit the historic mill town of Newmarket, N.H., for an event packed with music
and dance, arts and history, food and fun. Performances: African
drumming and Polish accordion tunes; Indian and Irish dancing; a Bavarian
oompah band and New England fiddling; a Chinese yo-yo demonstration, barbershop
harmonies and doo-wop tunes. Activities: artisans at work, fine arts and
crafts vendors, great food, kayaking and boat tours, medieval sword-fighting, a
model railway, history walks, a harvest supper. For children:
try-it-yourself traditional crafts, farm animals, a climbing wall, a bungee
bounce, juggling, face-painting—and more! Plenty of free parking; free trolley
to festival venues.
