Pinot Noir’s storied reputation originated in Burgundy, France, but the grape is cultivated for wine around the world. Although it is a fickle vine to tend, the payoff of its grapes is tremendous, producing a fruit-forward, silky-smooth wine that leaves a lasting impression on the palate. On Saturday, April 28th, 2012 from 12:00PM to 5:00PM, The Wine ConneXtion, located in North Andover, MA will pit European and American wines against one another in a clash of the continents, where guests will enjoy a complimentary tasting of Pinot Noirs and learn the distinct flavors of the same grapes grown in different regions.
Stay tuned, as the Wine ConneXtion will be leaking the names of the great producers of this distinguished varietal that will be featured as the event nears. Guests will leave as experts on this elusive grape, and possibly with a new favorite bottle of wine!
