Local Resident & California Vineyard Owner Brings Wine Home for a Complimentary Tasting at The Wine ConneXtion

On Saturday, April 14th, 2012 The Wine ConneXtion, located in North Andover, MA is proud to host Peter Merriam, founder of Merriam Vineyards and local resident from Boxford, MA, for a complimentary in-store tasting of his California-crafted wines. Merriam Vineyards is nestled in the warmest edge of California’s Russian River Valley and its Bordeaux-style wine is said to represent an “east meets west” experience, compliments of Merriam’s New England roots. From 12:00PM to 5:00PM guests are invited to sip and swirl their way across the country while getting their very own bottles signed by the founder himself! 

Merriam and his wife fell in love with French wine while on their honeymoon in France, and the theme carried through with their love of entertaining family and friends. After falling in love with the beauty of Sonoma County, CA on a trip, the pair turned their love affair with wine into their very own estate vineyard. Using grapes from some of the most esteemed growers in the Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys, they began to produce small lot, hand-crafted wines.
