Father Killed In Lawrence Apartment Fire Thursday Evening

LAWRENCE, MA — A man was killed in an apartment fire Thursday evening in Lawrence, multiple reports said. The fire was reported Thursday afternoon in a building at the corner of East Pleasant Street and Saxonia Avenue, according to WCVB. The victim was a father staying with one of his children.

"Multiple people at the scene told WCVB they tried getting into his apartment to save him, but the flames were too strong," WCVB reported.
