Fire Breaks Out at Bake'n Joy Foods
Fire at the Boston Coffee Cake plant reportedly started in oven.

A fire broke out at the facility on Willow Street just before noon Tuesday.
Alice Shepherd, the company's chief financial officer, said the fire had had started in a big tunnel oven and has been contained to that oven.
There were no injuries reported, and Shepherd said all employees were evacuated. It is estimated that about 100 of the facility's nearly 130 employees were working Tuesday.

Firefighters were still battling the fire Tuesday afternoon. Although smoke bellowed out through the roof in the back of the facility, Shepherd said the fire was contained.
"This is just a bump in the road at this point," Shepherd said.

Shepherd did not know how often the ovens are cleaned or inspected or what specific measures are taken to ensure safety but insisted the company makes sure the facility is safe.
"We are very careful about the safety of our employees," she said.
