UPDATE: One Killed in Fire on Park Street in North Andover

NORTH ANDOVER, MA - One person was killed in a fire on Park Street in North Andover Saturday, according to Town Manager Andrew Maylor.

Maylor wrote on Twitter around 3 p.m. that the fire had been contained. The fire was in the second floor of the home.

According to media reports, the victim was a woman in her 60s. An elderly couple who lived on the first floor were able to safely escape the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
