Today is Bastille Day, the French national holiday commemorating the day in in 1789 in which French revolutionaries stormed the Bastille Prison and released the prisoners, setting off the French Revolution.
Like other holidays celebrating foreign culture -- such as Cinco de Mayo and St. Patrick's Day -- America likes to put some flare into Bastille Day. No need to jump on a flight to Paris when you can do it up French style right here at home.
Here are five places to celebrate Bastille Day. As always, feel free to add your suggestions in the comments.
