This Guy Uses a Dashcam to Show How Bad Massachusetts Drivers Really Are

Check out the VIDEO.

Drivers who run red lights, drive in bike lanes and park sideways in the middle of the road seem to be a daily part of the commute in Massachusetts for YouTube user Frank May.

With the help of a dashcam, May filmed about 2,000 miles worth of footage on his travels around Massachusetts.

The result is a video full of drivers who fail to yield, don’t pay attention to road lines and are just generally careless on the road.

Throughout the video, May comments on the driving errors he saw. At one point May pulls up to an intersection where one car is parked sideways blocking the lane and you can hear him say, “Which way are we supposed to drive our cars? Sideways or forwardways?”

May says on his YouTube page that he wasn’t meaning to pick on Massachusetts drivers, or imply that they are worse than drivers in any other state. He simply wants people to be a little more careful on the roads.

No matter his intention, May certainly showed the rougher side of travelling in Massachusetts. But don’t worry, he also picked on New Hampshire and Maine.

May does have a point about Massachusetts drivers. Allstate’s America’s Best Drivers Report found that Worcester and Boston have the worst drivers in the country. Springfield has the fourth worst drivers.

The report said the average Worcester driver goes 4.3 years between accidents and Boston goes 4.4 years between accidents, according to Allstate.
