A Haverhill educator is facing allegations that he sent pornographic images of himself to a student, according to prosecutors.
HAVERHILL, MA — A Haverhill educator is facing accusations that he sent pornographic images of himself to a 16-year-old student, according to prosecutors.
Justin Smith, 25, was charged with two felony counts of distributing obscene matter to a minor.
Smith, an educational support professional at Gateway Academy in Haverhill, was arrested Thursday and appeared in Haverhill District Court on Friday.

Bail was set at $4,000, and a judge ordered Smith to have no contact with the alleged victim, have no contact with minors, stay away from schools, and comply with GPS home confinement.
Smith is due back in court July 8.
