Helen Pickard -- Prepared for School Committee

To North Andover Voters:

I ask North Andover residents to join me in supporting Helen Pickard for School Committee. I believe she will make an excellent choice for a number of reasons. The following points make it easy for me to support Helen when I vote.

Helen is well prepared for the job. Having worked as an educator herself, Helen recognizes the dedication our North Andover teachers, staff, and administrators bring into our schools every day. She supported our schools as a volunteer, helping in and outside the classroom. Helen worked on the Enrichment Council, bringing curriculum-related programs, and with the North Andover Music Association, Robotics, and RAISE. She consistently demonstrated preparedness, making these experiences positive for our children.

Helen is a problem solver. Helen views any obstacle as a challenge, not insurmountable, but something to analyze and improve upon. She always looks forward. She listens to differing opinions respectfully and values compromise. Helen will work to ensure our schools always move forward, maintaining transparency between all branches of town government so it works as harmoniously as possible.

Helen's positivity is what we need in our representatives. When our town faced some of its most difficult times, particularly regarding our school's budget, morale was low; town meetings became contentious. Helen stayed focused and positive.

Helen Pickard is prepared to work, take on problems and seek to solve them, with a positive, respectful point of view. Please support her on March 28th.
