IDs Released In Haverhill Suspected Murder-Suicide: DA

HAVERHILL, MA — The two people found dead in a Haverhill home on Sunday evening have been identified, according to a statement from the Essex County District Attorney's office.

Loren Marino, 24, of Haverhill, and Austin Amaral, of North Providence, RI died due to gunshot wounds in "an apparent murder-suicide," according to the statement.

A preliminary investigation found that the two had been in a dating relationship.

Police received a well-being check call at 5:43 p.m.

Officers responded to a home on Broadway Street and found a man and a woman dead with apparent gunshot wounds.

The investigation remains ongoing.
