Lady Knights Down Hamilton-Wenham 45-26

Boys ski team falls to 2-6; Knight wrestlers to compete in State Semifinal tonight against Marshfield.

The roof caved in on Hamilton-Wenham Tuesday night.

The Lady Knights dealt the Generals a 45-26 loss Tuesday night en route to their ninth consecutive win.

Morgan Lumb led her team in scoring with 14 points. Her two three pointers helped pace the Knights who led by 11 at the half.

The third quarter decided the game as the Knights' defense clamped down and allowed only two points in the entire period.

Meanwhile North Andover scored 14 in the quarter to extend their lead.

North Andover also got a big contribution from co-captain Amanda Foote whose ten points were instrumental in building up the Knights lead.

With five games left in the regular season, North Andover travels to Wilmington on Friday.

Boys Skiing

The ski team fell to Masconomet Tuesday by a disheartening score of 110-25.

Alex Durfee was the only Knight to make the leaderboard as he finished 16th in the meet with a score of 23.12.

The boys team will take the slopes at Bradford Ski Area again on Thursday against Andover High.

North Andover is a meager 2-6 this season.

O-Zone Lock of the Week

This week’s prediction will be the toughest one yet for the O-Zone.

The Wilmington Wildcats will travel to North Andover to do basketball battle on Friday night at 7 p.m. Wilmington enters right behind North Andover in the standings.

The Knights are 13-2 and the visiting Wildcats are 12-2. The top spot in the Cape Ann League will be at stake.

The O-Zone predicts that the Scarlet Knights will be victorious against their foes from down route 125.

The O-Zone has a 2-0 career record predicting Scarlet Knights games.
