LAWRENCE, MA — Two Lawrence residents have died of the new coronavirus, Mayor Dan Rivera reported Friday. The victims were one man and one woman in their 70s.
No additional information is available about the two victims.
As of Sunday, 319 residents have tested positive for the virus. The number of cases in the city more than doubled in a week, from 113 as of March 29. Rivera noted that because of limited testing, the true number of cases in the city might be much higher.
