Lawrence Shooting Sunday Left One Dead, One Hospitalized

LAWRENCE, MA — A man was killed and a woman injured in an early morning shooting in Lawrence, Sunday. Lawrence police responded around 3 a.m. Sunday to a report of gun shots at 90 Market Street. The two victims were found in a vehicle.

The deceased man was Alan Jimenez, 23, of Lawrence, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said. The female shooting victim, 19, has not been identified. She was taken from Lawrence General to a Boston hospital with serious injuries.

According to the most recent news release, Sunday evening, no arrests have been made. The Essex District Attorney's office, state police, and local police are investigating both cases.
