Letter To The Editor: In Support Of Jeff Dufour

Letter to the editor from North Andover resident Kevin Dube:

To the Editor,

I am writing to voice my support for Jeff Dufour in the September 1 Republican Primary. Jeff will make an excellent State Representative and is in the best position to take on the extreme left-wing Democrat, Tram Nguyen, that currently occupies the seat. Jeff Dufour supports our police forces, will hold the line on tax increases and will always put people ahead of politics. Jeff Dufour is the strongest and best candidate for the job to represent the people of the Merrimack Valley.

In the primary for the Republican nomination, Jeff’s opponent is backed by the Massachusetts Majority Super-PAC. This SuperPAC is pushing for changes to state laws governing local zoning that will make it easier for developers to build high density housing projects in our towns. Republican candidates should be pushing for increased local control on matters like this, not more Boston-imposed mandates.

I urge all voters, Republicans and Unenrolled, to vote JEFF DUFOUR for Republican Nominee in the 18th Essex. Our town needs someone like Jeff that will actually fight for us on Beacon Hill.
