Memorial Day In North Andover: What You Need To Know

NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- Monday, May 27, is Memorial Day, and the town's annual parade will start at 10 a.m. at the Town Common. The parade will be followed by a ceremony at Ridgewaood Cemetery. After the parade, there will be a flag raising, salute and reception at V.F.W. Post 2104.

What's Open And Closed On Memorial Day
The holiday also means government offices and some businesses will be closed. Before you head out, check our list of what's open and closed on the holiday
- Retail stores: Open at owner's discretion
- Subway, buses: Sunday schedule.
- Supermarkets: Open
- Convenience stores: Open
- Bars: Open
- Banks: Closed
- Basically anything to do with municipal government: Closed
- Libraries, see above: Closed
- Schools: Closed
- Mail: Express delivery only
- Trash/recycling collection: Delayed one day. Monday pickup on Tuesday, Tuesday pickup on Wednesday, etc., ending with Friday pickup on Saturday.
