Mexican Restaurant Seeks Employees As Wilmington Opening Approaches
Pancho's Cantina will open on Ballardville Street in an area of Wilmington where there are few sit down dining options.

WILMINGTON, MA -- A new Mexican restaurant, which the town approved earlier this year, appears to be close to opening. Pancho's Cantina at 206 Ballardville Street has been posting help wanted ads for waitstaff and bar help.
Among the restaurants principle owners is Elisandro "Dan" Chavez, who runs the popular Casa Blanca restaurants in Andover and North Andover. The restaurant will open in a section of Wilmington where there are few sit down dining options.

Chavez was not immediately available for comment Tuesday morning. Boston Restaurant Talk, which reported the impending opening, said the ads were looking for people to fill a variety of positions and that the restaurant would be "opening soon."
Earlier this year the Wilmington Apple reported on the Wilmington Selectmen's approval of the restaurant. The restaurant will seat 108 people and have 3,800 square feet of space. The restaurant will have a bar and serve a full Mexican menu.

"There are 9,000 employees within a 4-minute drive," Chavez told Selectmen at a meeting in May. "There’s not much in the area for lunch. Folks want something new, fresh and different…. The restaurant is a great fit for the location and the community."
