Minicucci Wins State Rep Race In 14th Essex District

NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- Christina Minicucci, the North Andover businesswoman turned politician, claimed victory in her state representative race against Republican Ryan Losco. If the results are confirmed, the Democratic nominee will represent the 14th Essex District, which includes Methuen, Haverhill, North Andover and Lawrence.

"I'm really excited. I feel like we ran a really positive campaign," Minicucci told the Eagle-Tribune, which first reported this story. Minicucci's claim to victory came just before 9 pm, even though no official results have been reported.
