North Andover Celebrates Earth Day on Saturday
The North Andover Sustainability Committee is sponsoring an Earth Day celebration at the DPW on Osgood Street.
Help keep our community clean and green on April 30 from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The North Andover Sustainability Committee will provide trash bags, gloves, "grabbers", and everything you need to pick up trash in an area of town important to you. If you want a suggestion, the committee has a list of places in need of attention. Once again this year, the focus will be on our greatest natural resource, Lake Cochichewick.
The Friends of North Andover Trails will be in attendance, as will other organizations to provide you with information about North Andover's environment. Compost bins will be available for sale at a discounted price. Stop by and check out the activities.
