North Andover Completes Green Communities Project

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — The town has completed another Green Communities project, which focused its efforts on schools.

The project included replacing inefficient lighting fixtures with new LED fixtures at North Andover High School as well as weatherization measures at the elementary schools, the high school, and North Andover Town Hall, according to the town.

The Green Communities Division of the Department of Energy Resources provided the town with a grant for $130,003 to complete these projects.

The town incurred no costs with this project with the help of incentives from Eversource and National Grid.
