North Andover Coronavirus: Schools April Break Canceled
The School Committee voted Thursday to cancel the April vacation, April 21 to 24.
NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover public schools have canceled their scheduled April vacation in response to the turmoil created by the new coronavirus. The School Committee voted Thursday to have school proceed April 21 to 24.
April 20 is a state holiday, Patriots' Day, so school remains off that day.
"No determination was made for the rescheduling of vacation days at this time," according to the school district.

Eighty-three residents have tested positive for the new coronavirus, as of Tuesday. Two have died while 44 have recovered from the virus.
