North Andover Food Bank, Schools Supply Thousands Of Meals

Town officials highlighted the work of dozens of town and school employees in staffing the food bank and meal program.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Food programs at the North Andover Public Schools and the Senior Center have distributed thousands of meals since the coronavirus shutdown began, town officials told the Board of Selectmen Monday.

The Senior Center Food Bank has received over 4,000 donations from residents and businesses, which have gone to 150 residents.

The school program has distributed over 29,000 meals to residents, with the involvement of 28 school employees.
