North Andover High School Band and Chorus Students Chosen to Perform in All-State Festival at Symphony Hall.

11 NAHS music students were selected to participate in the MMEA All-State Conference and to perform in the Festival concert on March 11th.

Eleven North Andover High School music students took part in the Massachusetts Music Educators' Association All-State Festival auditions which were held on January 21st. To qualify, students had to have scored in the top 50% for all members of the MMEA Northeastern District Senior Festival music groups.

Auditioning for All-State Band were: Kunal Gala ‘17, percussion; Dan Heron ‘19, trumpet; and Frank Zhou ‘17, alto saxophone; and auditioning for All-State Choir were: Simona Arloro ‘18, soprano; Kerrigan Bigelow ‘19, soprano; Eros Canetti ‘19, tenor; Hannah Carroll ‘19, soprano; Emily Cummings ‘18, soprano; Ryan Drew ‘17, bass; Will Ferguson ‘18, tenor; and Carly Fraser ’19, alto.

Selected to participate in the MMEA All-State Conference to be held in Boston from March 9-11, and to perform in the All-State Festival concert at Boston Symphony Hall on Saturday, March 11th, were Kunal Gala, for his third consecutive festival, and Ryan Drew, Emily Cummings, Will Ferguson and Kerrigan Bigelow, each for their second festival.
