North Andover High School Marching Band Holds Food Drive During August Band Camp.
Marching band students collected 447 pounds of food for Neighbors in Need in Lawrence during the annual band camp, held August 14-19.
Spearheaded by NAHS sophomore alto saxophone player Anna McGrath as a way to give back to the local community, a food drive contest was held during the August 14 - 19 Marching Band Camp. Band sections were challenged to collect the most food items per student, and Anna announced the flute section as the winners during the annual band camp BBQ. Overall, students collected a total of 447 pounds of food which was delivered to Neighbors in Need in Lawrence.
