North Andover Man Charged In NH Rapes

NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- A former North Andover High School track star was scheduled to be arraigned on multiple charges in Rockingham, NH District Court Monday morning. Police say Eliezer Tuttle, 18, of North Andover, raped a teenage girl in his car outside of a Salem, NH restaurant on Feb. 17, then raped her again later that day outside of a movie theater in Epping.

Tuttle was arrested last week and charged with two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, aggravated felonious sexual assault (use of force/violence), two counts of simple assault and second degree assault (strangulation) for the Salem attack. In the Epping attack, he was charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault, attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault, criminal restraint and two counts of simple assault.

The victim said she had met Tuttle at the Mall at Rockingham Park and they made plans to eat at a Salem restaurant after exchanging phone numbers.
