HOPKINTON, MA -- A North Andover man will be held without bail until a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Tuesday after being arraigned in Framingham District Court Thursday. Damon Deniso, 41, of North Andover, was charged with armed assault to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after a stabbing in Hopkinton Thursday morning.

Hopkinton Police responded to a call at 7:30 AM reporting that a man was bleeding from the head at a residence on West Main Street. The victim, whose injuries were non-life threatening, and other witnesses said he had been stabbed by Deniso, who had fled before police arrived.

Deniso was located a short time later at his workplace, which is a short distance from where the stabbing occurred, police said. He was arrested without incident and the investigation is ongoing.
