Work with Foster Kids of the Merrimack Valley Recognized

North Andover native Kate Cook has been named one of 2016’s “Unsung Heroines” by the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women, in honor of her contributions to the Merrimack Valley.
The Unsung Heroine initiative identifies and honors extraordinary women from across the Commonwealth. Cook was nominated for the recognition by State Representative Diana DiZoglio (D-Methuen), who joined the recipient for a celebration in her honor at the Massachusetts State House.
“What an honor it was to be recognized along with so many other amazing women in the Commonwealth,” said Cook. “I am blessed to live in a great community of people who work tirelessly to give to others in need.”
