North Andover Non Profit Finalist in Extreme Boston Website Makeover

Help the non-profit organization win by promoting via social channels

North Andover, MA – October 11, 2013 – A Little Easier Recovery, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to make it "A Little Easier" for the next person that must endure cancer treatment and recovery, today announced it has been named a finalist in Boston’s Extreme Website Makeover competition which ends October 15th. Metropolis Creative supports innovative companies in Boston by rewarding one deserving company with a free website makeover – comprised of design, fully coded content-management, corresponding social media design, layouts for tablet and mobile device viewing and search engine optimization.

A Little Easier Recovery provides an essential recovery jacket called the “Jacki®” that appears to be an everyday jacket when in reality, it aides cancer patients enduring treatment and recovery. The Jacki has necessary pocketing, Velcro seams and sensitive fabric that allows for a full range of motion while keeping patients stylish and comfortable. Top hospitals provide the Jacki, free of charge, to all Breast Cancer patients. This is only possible through grants and donations to A Little Easier Recovery. The company donates directly to hospitals to distribute at the discretion of nurses and surgeons. Since its inception, more than 12,000 Jacki recovery jackets have been given to patients as a gift, and the non-profit aims to supply thousands more.
