North Andover Is One Of The Best Places For Music Education

NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- The National Association of Music Merchants named North Andover to its list of the best communities in the U.S. for music education. It was the second straight year North Andover has made the list. Agawam, Bemnont, Billerica, Chelmsford, Everett, Marblehead, Randolph, Wakefield, Wayland, Westfield, Westford, Weston and the Southern Berkshire Regional School District were the other Massachusetts school districts to make the list in 2018.

According to NAMM, the program recognizes efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.
