North Andover Police Issue Warning On Car Break-Ins, Package Thefts

Police are asking residents to be cautious following an uptick in car break-ins and package thefts.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Police have issued a warning to residents regarding package thefts and vehicle break-ins.

North Andover police posted the following on Facebook:

"It is that time of year, where we start to see an uptick in car break ins and package thefts from residences. Please secure your vehicles and hide any valuables from view. Lock them in the trunk, if possible. Packages are best to be delivered to your place of work or a friend/neighbor who will be home for the day. Report any suspicious behavior to your police department. Our non-emergency number is 978-683-3168. IF there is an emergency, dial 911. Have a great Holiday Season !!"
