North Andover Police Train For Active Shooter Situations
The department is conducting joint exercises with the Lawrence Police Department this week.
NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- The North Andover and Lawrence Police Departments started joint training sessions for responding to active shooter situations Tuesday. The training, which involves live munitions, are being conducted at the Osgood Landing Complex and run through Friday. The training is aimed at preparing police officers for active shooting situations, including scenarios that involve multiple shooters and school shootings.
