North Andover Reports 24 Coronavirus-Related Deaths, 262 Cases
The town has fewer than 100 active coronavirus cases, down from two weeks ago.
NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Twenty-four North Andover residents have died of the coronavirus, the town said Monday.
In total 262 residents have tested positive for the virus. Ninety-three have active cases while 145 have recovered. The town's population of active patients has dropped, from 103 on May 5.
The town noted in its update Monday that the town election is fast approaching. The election was rescheduled for June 2 due to the virus.

Residents are encouraged to vote by mail and absentee ballot. The town will release election safety protocols in coming days.
