North Andover Reports New Uptick In Coronavirus Cases

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover reported its largest daily increase in coronavirus cases in over a month, Wednesday. Five more residents have tested positive, bringing the active total to eight patients.

The town last reported five or more new cases on June 1, when it reported six new cases. North Andover has had fewer than eight active cases since June 19.

Still, the town's case total is far below its peak level in late May, when there were over 120 active cases. Thirty-six residents have died of the virus, while 307 have recovered.
