North Andover Rescue Workers Revive Woman Who Overdosed

Fire and ambulance workers administered Narcan to the 40-year-old woman, who was found unresponsive in a parking lot.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- A 40-year-old woman was taken to Lawrence General Hospital Monday night after ambulance workers revived her using the opiate overdose reversal drug naloxone, which is marketed under the brand name Narcan. According to the Eagle-Tribune, which first reported this story, the woman was found unresponsive in a car in the parking lot the North Andover Mall on Route 114. The woman regained consciousness before she was transported to the hospital.
