North Andover Select Board To Weigh Restaurant License, Gas Work

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — A restaurant's liquor license application, infrastructure work, and a school budget update are among the key items scheduled for discussion at the Select Board’s Monday night meeting.
The board is set to open in executive session before moving into public business at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
A public hearing will be held on an application from Tavern Opco LLC, which is seeking a liquor license for Tavern in the Square at 435 Andover St. The board will also vote on that request, along with related common victualler and entertainment licenses for the same business.

Additional licensing requests include applications tied to a property on Johnson Street and a business on Chickering Road, both seeking approvals to operate with food service and entertainment components.
In other business, the board will review a petition from Eversource to replace and relocate gas mains across several streets, including Route 114, Peters Street, and Waverly Road. Officials are also expected to consider adopting a sustainable purchasing policy.

Earlier in the meeting, members will hear a Planning Board report ahead of Town Meeting and receive an update from Superintendent Gregg Lathrop on the school budget.
The agenda also includes time for public comment, board updates and a report from the town manager.
