North Andover Senior Citizen Survey Results

Check out some of the amenities senior citizens who repsonded to the survey would like to see in North Andover.

The Division of Community and Economic Development of North Andover recently conducted a survey to inquire the needs and interests of the town’s senior population. The goal of the survey was to explore amenities and services that would be appealing to senior citizens and to incorporate findings into the Town’s efforts to spur economic development, particularly in the Main Street downtown area.

Survey Results

Fifty seniors responded to the survey and the respondents provided information in regards to the needs and interests of the senior population, according to the Division of Community and Economic Development.

The Town created two comment boxes for the seniors to propose amenities not listed on the survey.

  • 55 percent of the respondents woud like to have a grocery store in town.
  • 38 percent asked for a better parking in the downtown district.

The survey also said the town is exploring to bring new amenities to the community,and asked senior citizens to select their favorite amenities. Respondents could slect more than one.
