North Andover Students and Area Professionals Perform in Annual Jazz Night Event!
A favorite event of the NAPS music community, the audience was treated to the energetic performances of three talented jazz ensembles!
The annual North Andover Jazz Night was held on Friday, May 19th in the high school café. A large audience enjoyed impressive performances by the North Andover Middle School Jazz Band, the North Andover High School Jazz Ensemble, and the Jazz Night Big Band, which is comprised of area music professionals.
Guest artist and clinician Trent Austin performed on trumpet with each ensemble. Mr. Austin also worked with both the NAMS and NAHS students earlier during educational clinics sponsored by the North Andover Music Association and the Massachusetts Association for Jazz Education (MAJE).
