North Andover Teen Arrested in NH on Drug Charge

Salem Police: Edward Allen was arrested at a wedding party. Also, a Methuen woman was arrested on numerous drug charges at the mall.

SALEM, NH — Edward R. Allen, 19, of Johnson Street in North Andover, MA, was arrested at 2 a.m. on Dec. 31, 2016, for possession of a controlled drug-marijuana. Two other 17-year-olds were also taken into protective custody. Officers were sent to the Holiday Inn on Keewaydin Drive for a report about a dispute in one of the rooms. An employee said the subjects were part of a wedding party. Police took three into custody. Allen was later released on a summons.

Stephanie M. Caraccio, 29, of Forest Street in Methuen, MA, was arrested at 1:32 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2016, on five counts of possession of a controlled drug-heroin/crack, less than 1 gram, cocaine, less than half an ounce, three Schedule 1-4 drugs. Police were sent to the Rockingham Mall for a report of an erratic operator on the Macy’s level near Lord & Taylor, possibly with a child in the vehicle. Officers reportedly found the driver slouched over her steering wheel, according to dispatch. Windham Police also assisted at the scene with a search.
