NORTH ANDOVER, MA — The town is providing updates on trash collection, the school schedule, and more after a winter storm walloped the region.
The emergency parking ban was extended and will now end 9 a.m. Wednesday.
All non-essential town buildings are also closed Tuesday.

Trash and recycling pickup will begin again Tuesday on a one-day delay. For example, those normally scheduled for Monday pickup will be on Tuesday.
The town said residents should expect delays.

"Recovery for the crews will be very slow going," the town wrote.
All trash and recycling needs to be out at curbside or the top of driveway by 7 a.m.
North Andover Public Schools were again canceled Tuesday. However, the district said that Wednesday will now be a full day of school. Previously, Wednesday was scheduled as an early release day.
The town also advised residents to keep fire hydrants clear of snow.
